QRDI Qatar Open Innovation Program (QOI)
The Qatar Open Innovation (QOI) Program, an external funding opportunity funded by QRDI, connects companies with cadres of innovators and experts to develop, pilot, and test solutions addressing challenges set by Opportunity Owners, such as government agencies and local large enterprises, with potential benefits for HBKU to create spin-outs based on the developed solutions or establish future commercial contracts with the Opportunity Owners.
QRDI Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)
The Knowledge Transfer Partnership Qatar (KTP-Q) program is an external funding opportunity supported by QRDI. It facilitates collaboration between knowledge institutes, such as HBKU, and businesses in Qatar, who contribute financially alongside QRDI. This collaboration aims to address business challenges through knowledge transfer from academic experts to an 'Associate,' typically a graduate with a graduate degree, enabling project implementation, business improvement, and future commercial contracts between the knowledge institute and the business partner.
